WWII British 'Ordnance QF 25 pounder' field artillery piece with 'Trailer, Artillery, No 27' limber. 25-pdr features gun with turned aluminum barrel with hollow muzzle, cradle with sliding recoil, well detailed box trail carriage with spoke circular gun platform, crisp raised rivet detail, multipart gun shield, moveable breech mechanism, delicate hand wheels and gun laying mechanisms, separately molded tools, gun crew (6 figures posed servicing the weapon), vinyl tires and photo-etch detail parts. Limber has ammunition chest with optional position doors, hitching pole, 2-piece ammunition (3 rounds), vinyl tires and photo-etch detail parts. May be assembled in firing or transport configuration and completed model is adjustable in elevation. Painting guide for 2 gun schemes: an unknown unit with the 8th Army in North Africa, 1941-3 and Royal Canadian Horse Artillery in England, 1940 - decals represent ammunition markings.
