Grumman carrier capable 2-seat biplane fighter license-built by the Canadian Car & Foundry Company for export and the Royal Canadian Air Force. Kit has engraved panel lines, subtle fabric-over-frame effects, well represented cockpit and gunner's station, detailed landing gear, 2-piece drag ring, 1-piece injection-molded canopy and rigging notes. Also includes resin parts (excellent single piece radial engine, exhaust collector, rear machine gun), photo-etch parts (instrument panel, seatbelts, gunsights) and acetate instrument sheet. Decals and painting reference for 3 RCAF aircraft during 1940-42: RE*N/341 of 118(F) Squadron at Dartmouth AB; RE*W/344 of 118(F) Squadron at Dartmouth AB and RE*M/338 of the Test and Development Flight at Rockliffe AB and later of 118(F) Squadron.
