LFG Roland late WWI Imperial German biplane fighter characterized by unique 'klinkerrumpf' fuselage construction, initial production variant. Kit features engraved fuselage clinker slat effects, fabric over frame effects, well appointed cockpit, individually molded rudder, propeller with separate spinner, acetate sheet windscreen, rigging notes, resin parts (including Mercedes engine) and photo-etch parts (including seatbelts and gun jackets). Decals and color painting guide for 2 Luftstreitkräfte aircraft: black fuselage with edelweiss of Jasta 23b, pilot Otto Kissenberth (20 victories), early 1918 and factory-finish s/n 3615/18 during 1918 - includes 4-color lozenge (upper and lower) plus dark and light rib tapes.
